Update
Connect MILO with a USB data cable first and turn it on.
The first time you update, a pop up will open that lets you choose the port MILO is connected to (look for “TinyUSB” or “Espressif”).
It will just update the firmware and the built-in instruments. Your songs and recordings stay exactly as they are.
MILO is already up to date — nothing to install. You can unplug it.
Reinstall
Reinstalls MILO's firmware and built-in instrument set from scratch.
It takes about a minute and may ask you to pick MILO twice, because it reappears as a different device in between (first time “TinyUSB”, second time “ESP32-S3”). Your songs and recordings stay exactly as they are here too. In Step 2, MILO can take up to about 15 seconds to turn up in the picker — leave the dialog open and it will appear.
